What exists today
The project has no user accounts, listing form, analytics, newsletter or transaction database. A request will normally concern an email you sent or limited technical logs held by the hosting provider.
Your rights
Where data-protection law applies, you may be entitled to know whether personal data is held about you and receive a copy of it.
- Access: ask what is held and why.
- Correction: fix inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: ask for data that is no longer needed to be deleted.
- Restriction: pause certain uses while an issue is checked.
- Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interests.
- Portability: receive eligible data you supplied in a usable format.
- Consent: withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing.
Making a request
Email info@yachtwebsite.com with “Data request” in the subject. State the email address or message involved and the right you want to use. A narrow, specific request is easier to answer accurately.
Identity will be checked in a way proportionate to the data and risk. A reply from the same email address may be enough. Do not send a passport or other identity document unless a lawful and specific need for it has been explained.
Limits and timing
Rights are not absolute. Data may sometimes need to be retained for security, legal claims or a legal obligation, and a request can be limited where the law allows. If that happens, the reason should be explained clearly. Valid requests should be answered within the period required by the applicable law.
Questions and complaints
If an answer does not resolve the issue, you may complain to the data-protection authority that applies where you live or where the processing occurred. The Privacy Policy explains the limited data flows on the current site.
Before new features launch
The formal controller identity, jurisdiction, provider list and request procedure must be completed and legally reviewed before user accounts, listing submissions or other personal-data features go live.
